A Joint IFRP and MFCN Workshop

Travel Assistance: A successful workshop, similar to an effective collaborative group, depends on broad representation from diverse interests. IFRP recognizes that travel costs can limit attendance. Our objective is to encourage participation by offering support to offset travel costs to Missoula. If travel costs prevent your participation, please review the information in the Travel Assistance heading listed below, and submit an application for assistance.

Prior to registering, Forest Service employees interested in attending should gain approval by their Forest Supervisor. Forest Service meeting participation will be limited due to meetings management and all FS participants must be approved to attend. Candidates for Travel Assistance Are:
- Active members of a forest collaborative group
- Without employer financial support to attend
- Willing and able to represent their collaborative group in all aspects of the workshop
Review of the Applications for Assistance
- Limited funds are available to partially cover costs to participate.
- Participant pays for the registration fee.
- Conference organizers will review all applications and notify applicants of the decision.
- Recipients are only eligible for lodging assistance if they stay at the Hilton Garden Inn.
- Qualifying lodging nights are November 1st and 2nd.
- Reimbursement of expenses will be based on receipts submitted following the workshop for lodging at the Hilton Garden Inn, and travel (gas receipts or airfare). The maximum amount of reimbursement is $300.
