The 2020 Webinars are an extension of the IFRP 2020 Virtual Conference held in April. Forest Restoration Collaborators are invited to participate in these virtual events, hosted via the software technology of Zoom.
The IFRP Board wishes to thank the 2020 Conference sponsors. Due to their generous support this year, we are able to offer the webinars without a registration fee.
Great American Outdoors Act
Tuesday, October 20th
10:00-11:30 am MDT
The Great American Outdoors Act will provide the Forest Service an annual allocation of $285 million from the National Parks and Public Land Legacy Restoration Fund for a five-year period for infrastructure and deferred maintenance improvements in recreation infrastructure. Some of these funds will no doubt be used in Idaho to address recreation infrastructure and maintenance and management of the vast Forest Service transportation system. The Forest Service transportation system is an essential component for our efforts to increase collaborative forest restoration in Idaho, and IFRP believes some infrastructure projects funded through the GAOA could help meet multiple resource objectives coupled with actions that improve forest conditions.
Please join us for a discussion of GAOA with Forest Service officials.
The webinar will be hosted by Zoom.
Advance Registration, required, is available here. There is no registration fee.
After registering, watch for an email message with information about joining the webinar.
